The complexity of the reconstructive procedures he performed has created a better understanding of the body’s form and function and he uses that knowledge and experience to improve cosmetic surgery outcomes. He has published numerous journal articles in peer-reviewed literature including the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery. He has also contributed to multiple book chapters in plastic surgery. He has presented his work across the US as well as internationally, speaking in London, Beijing, and Mumbai.
He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He, his wife Heather, and their two French bulldogs, Juliet and Sookie, are happy to have returned to Charleston SC to be a part of the remarkable team at Sweetgrass Plastic Surgery.
