What is SKINVIVE™?
SKINVIVE™ is an injectable dermal filler treatment, made by Juvederm®, that can smooth wrinkles and restore hydration in the cheeks and mid-face area. It contains hyaluronic acid, which helps improve skin moisture and plumpness. SKINVIVE™ is the first and only FDA-approved hyaluronic acid injectable specifically designed to hydrate the skin for a radiant, healthy look.
What Makes SKINVIVE™ Unique?
SKINVIVE™ sets itself apart from other injectable treatments with its specialized formula and unique application. Most injectables on the market today are dermal fillers that add volume to smooth wrinkles and folds. They are made of thick, gel-like substances that lift and plump the skin when injected into facial areas that have lost volume due to aging. SKINVIVE™ works differently. The total cost of your SKINVIVE™ treatment will vary based upon the extent of treatment needed to help you achieve your desired results. During your consultation, we will develop a personalized treatment plan, and you will be informed of your treatment costs and methods of payment. We are happy to accept cash, personal checks, and credit cards. We also offer financing options to make our treatments more affordable.
SKINVIVE™ treatments typically begin with cleansing the skin, after which we’ll apply a numbing cream to reduce any pain that may occur during the injection process. Then, we’ll inject small amounts of the SKINVIVE™ gel into the desired treatment areas using an ultrafine needle. You may feel a slight pinch during this process. Overall, SKINVIVE™ treatments take less than 30 minutes to perform.
There is minimal downtime required after SKINVIVE™ treatments. Some temporary redness, swelling or bruising may occur after injections, but you’ll be able to resume most normal activities right away. A few exceptions include sun exposure and strenuous exercise, which should be avoided for the first 24 hours after your treatment.
Results are instant, as the hyaluronic acid formula in SKINVIVE™ provides immediate skin smoothing and hydration. These results will become more visible as any minor side effects fade. SKINVIVE™ is clinically proven to last up to 6 months or longer, with only one treatment session needed. Patients who would like to prolong their results can easily do so with touch-up treatments.
