What is Dysport®?

The total cost of your Dysport® treatment will vary based upon how much treatment is required. During your consultation we will develop a personalized treatment plan, and you will be informed of your treatment costs and methods of payment. We are happy to accept cash, personal checks, and credit cards. Financing is also available so that our Dysport® treatments are affordable to all of our patients.
The injection process can be performed in our Sweetgrass Plastic Surgery office, and it takes just a few minutes. No anesthesia is required, though a topical numbing cream may be applied if desired. A thin needle is used to inject the Dysport® solution into the targeted area of the face. Like Botox®, this solution contains a diluted, purified form of botulinum toxin. Once injected, this solution blocks signals from the nerves to the muscle, causing the muscle to relax and the wrinkles to flatten. Most treatments require multiple injections, depending on the targeted area. Once these injections have been delivered, patients are free to leave our office immediately. There is no recovery period. Most patients can return to work and other normal daily activities immediately. No bandages are required, though you should avoid rubbing your face. The results of your treatment should become visible within 14 days and remain visible for up to six months.
